    The company IGT 1 Outsourcing Lanka (Private) Limited, hereafter referred to as ‘IGT 1 Lanka’, a new 100% export-oriented company incorporated within Sri Lanka to carry out Information Technology, Software, IT Services, and BPO by providing resources for leading global software and services companies. IGT 1 Lanka is a Port City registered offshore company and a 100% subsidiary of IGT I Holdings Sweden AB (Parent Company). The Parent Company is owned by three of the major global Private Equity investment companies - EQT, Hg, and TA Associates.

    The Parent Company already has significant investments in Sri Lanka, with Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) Sri Lanka, and looks to leverage the modern infrastructure and advantages offered by the Colombo Port City, continuing to build on their success in Sri Lanka with IFS to further enhance the contribution to the country's economy. Through its operations IGT1 Lanka expects to create a significant inflow of foreign direct investment into the country, in the long-term generating 1,000+ employment opportunities in the IT / BPO sectors with employees, infuse cutting-edge knowledge and upskill talent, and enhance creativity and innovation.
